Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 18, 2026
GI Landscape Maintenance LLC ("we", "us", "our") operates gilandscapellc.com and serves residential property owners across the Portland metro and Willamette Valley. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose.
1. What we collect
- Information you give us through forms: name, email, phone, ZIP, project details, and photos you upload for an AI estimate.
- Standard server logs: IP address, browser type, pages visited.
- Cookies necessary for basic site function.
2. How we use it
- To respond to quotes, estimates, and site-visit requests.
- To generate AI-rendered previews of your project (the photo estimator).
- To improve the site and detect abuse.
- We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We share information with service providers we rely on to run the business: email delivery (Resend), hosting (Vercel), payment processing (when applicable), and AI model providers (OpenAI) for the photo estimator. We share only what those services need to do their job. We disclose information when required by law.
4. Your rights
If you are in California, the EU, the UK, or any jurisdiction with applicable privacy law, you have the right to ask what we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or opt out of certain uses. Email privacy@gilandscapellc.com and we will respond within 30 days.
5. Retention
Lead and account records are kept as long as the account is active plus seven years for tax and warranty purposes, then deleted or anonymized.
6. Children
The site is not directed to anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
7. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be announced at the top of this page for 30 days.
